The revolutionary robotic Panel Sanding Assistant from Omnirobotic is designed to solve the issue of finding skilled labour while improving the quality of your sanding operations. Simply place your panels on one of the two tables and the overhead 3D cameras will determine their orientation and type, and scan for both the shape and depth. It will then autonomously sand each door style whether it be a shaker or raised panel type, with a quality second to none. It can sand the center of an MDF shaker door panel and also the face of the door, if required. No need to manually touch up the inside edges or corners. The sanding presets are simply selected by the operator in advance.

With its twin table system the robot can sand on one table while the operator is unloading and loading on the other. This allows for continuous production which greatly improves productivity. A single operator could potentially operate two Panel Sanding Assistants for even greater payback!

Unlimited sanding presets*
Unlimited sanding preets for impeccable sanding on various materials. Required the Touch Screen and 2D Code reader option to enable the operator to select sanding parameters using the Code reader instead of the 4 positions selector button.

Touch Screen
Industrial Touch Screen to locally display Status and Alarms and other Online Services features, if enabled. One screen per table.

Blind probing support slim shaker style panel. Shaker style panel where the recessed area is leaving only a narrow border (less than 10mm) can be processed using this feature. Blind probing force the robot to seach for thin border using the accurate laser detector instead of relying only on 3D camera that have a limited resolution.

2D Code Reader
This reader enables “Unlimited sanding presets” and “Custom data aggregation”. The operator uses it by scanning 2D QR codes generated by the customer. Free QR code generators are available online. One Code reader is required by table.

Automatic Media Changer
Automatic Media changer for up to 3 different abrasives. This option enable to specify the media type to be use for a sanding preset and the robot will automatically change the media before going to a table requiring a different media than the one currently on the sanding unit. The operator can decide to re-cycle the removed media or to discard it for a new one.
