The Watts-Mueller WM-Classic Series CNC Pipe Cutting Beveling Machines are 6-axis machines for pipes from 3 inches up to 72 inches. These machines handle round pipe and are operated with our 3D-Profile Plus Software which enables the machines to be programmed quickly and multiple cuts to be processed with relative ease and extreme accuracy. WM Classic Series machines can use plasma and/or oxyfuel. These machines can also be equipped with air-scribing and laser scanning.

WM-48 (6 Axis) Pipe Cutting Machines
WM-48 Computer controlled pipe cutting machine conveys and rotates pipe from 2″ to 48″ OD with a 20′-50′ machine bed capable of supporting 1500 lbs. per foot to a maximum of 30,000-50,000 lbs. to include:
- 6-axis profiling carriage on precision machined and hardened track. Simultaneous motion maintains the torch cutting position along the linear axis of the pipe and perpendicular to the linear axis to perform beveled holes and end cuts.
- Tracking torch head includes vertical and horizontal tracking mechanism to maintain torch height and pipe centerline to automatically compensation for bent or out-of-round pipe.
- Floating pipe clamp with locking mechanism for accurate rotation that eliminates pipe walk.
- Hydraulic controlled lift deck with powered machine conveyor.
- Hydraulically actuated off loader arms to transfer the pipe off the cutting cell.
