Working from our facility in Edmonton, the candidate will be responsible for the shipping – receiving of machines, parts and supplies. The successful candidate will need to have warehouse experience with forklift certification with a comfort level of handling machinery loads of different sizes and weights. Attention to detail and organization abilities are required.
Duties of Position:
Shipping & Receiving – Machines, Parts, Supplies
Arranging trucking and cartage and preparing bills of lading
Safely load and unload machines from trucks
Crating & uncrating of machines
Receive return goods and repairs and prepare proper documentation
Putting machines in showroom
Properly identifying and labeling parts and supplies for stock
Getting credit approvals
Requirements of Position:
Shipping – Receiving Experience
Valid Driver’s License & Forklift Certification
Excellent Computer skills
Good oral and written English skills
Highly organized, with high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
Ability to take the initiative, be proactive, combined with exceptional follow-up skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Highly motivated and energetic, as well as a positive attitude
Customer service orientated
Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and think ahead – anticipating the needs of the customer
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines for critical tasks
